"Althorp House is a small group of working women from Raleigh, Cary and Chapel Hill. Interestingly there are two mother and daughter combinations in the group. They have, in the past, been very active DBE members, serving on both National and State boards. At this time they are less active, preferring just to enjoy the social activities and friendships earned through their DBE service. They meet the first Tuesday of each month, either in a members home, where a delicious meal is provided, or in a restaurant. They also hold several functions a year where spouses are included. Interested newcomers are welcome to join us for dinner."
